This page explains the cookies VPN4Pros uses, in plain terms.
What's a Cookie
A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between visits, like whether you're logged in.
Cookies I Use

Both of these are first party, meaning I set them directly, not a third party. Neither contains personal information you could be identified by on its own. The share gate cookie is just a signed, meaningless token confirming an action happened.
Third-Party Cookies
If ads are enabled on this site, they're served through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure how those ads perform. You can see and adjust your ad personalization settings directly at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of personalized advertising across participating sites at aboutads.info.
This site also uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, things like which pages are popular and how people arrive here. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects data such as your approximate location (derived from IP address, not your exact location), device and browser type, and which pages you visit. I use this in aggregate; I don't use it to identify you individually.
If you sign in with Google, that login process may also set cookies, governed by Google's own policies rather than mine.
How to Control Cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. If you block the session cookie, you'll be logged out and some forms may not work. If you block the share gate cookie, you'll need to repeat the unlock step each time you download.
Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies specifically while still allowing first-party ones, which would block Google's ad cookies without affecting how the core site works.
